Hello and welcome to this site, devoted entirely to the 1979 to 1985 General Motors E-Bodies and the 1980 to 1985 K-Body, the Cadillac Seville.
You may have noticed the lower black bar below the site's Logo. This will be a "logistical" menu for reaching site features. It will be expanded as features are added.
I've taken the original Introduction page to the "Purpose" page which also has the reason and goals of the site.
Please visit the Home Page by clicking the link above. From there you can check out the rest of the site by using the left hand Menu. The Home page is the only one that uses an I-Frame. This Introduction used to be there. From now on the I-frame section will only be used for new notifications, Updates and progress reports.
11/3/10 ---- I see that the bots have found my site even though I haven't submitted it to the search engines yet. The form and function of it are finished, but I'm still working on the substance of the site and it's still in the testing phase. I'm finding the advertisement for it is really annoying. When it's ready for actual use I hope to upgrade to a paid site and get rid of the ad.

To my friends that I first sent my efforts to almost two years ago, I hope you find this satisfying and more refined. To all of you who have just recently found this site, I hope you enjoy it. Right now (October 18th, 2010) it's online for further testing. The full archival site should be ready soon. Please bear with me, I'm a new guy at being a webmaster!!

Well, here it is.
After searching and searching for sites that dealt specifically with our cars and not finding anything except scattered information, I finally got tired and started to see what I could do about compiling and putting together something myself just for our cars.
I hope to include as much information for all of the 1979 to 1985 Eldorados, Rivieras, Toronados, and the 1980 to 1985 Seville so that this site may eventually be the "where-to-find-it-site" for all of our information. Since our cars are at least 25 years old, there won't be any new recalls, or other notices from the manufacturer... but it will at least be an archival repository of information about our cars, and hopefully a source of information for restoration and repair.
I can see it growing from your input to me, and I'll update this through your input. If you think it should look or go into a different direction, then tell me what you have to suggest.
I hope that you'll want to share this with other 1979 to 1985 E-Body owners and enthuisiasts, if only so that they can benefit from my research work.
You might be asking "Why did you include the K-Body 1980 -'85 Seville on this site"?
Well, it does share our frame, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brakes, some engines, and many interior parts. Therefore I decided to include it not only for the benefit of parts sharing for us, but for the benefit of Seville owners too, even though they have their own websites.

I started to develop this site in late August 2008 and it's almost ready two years later. I hope you like it for it's potential, and I am really hoping to make it better through input from everyone who uses it.
After making this I can see why teams of designers get the Big Bucks for this kind of work!!!
